I'll give you a confusing answer (sorry) but I'll answer for real later on (building suspense).

Feed your fish as much as you can... like 10 times per day.
But, make sure you don't feed your tank.

I like "Adam's Gumbo" for food (I'll be putting the info on this up on the web soon).  If you want some talk to Mark and tell him you want "Adam's Gumbo HV", otherwise for tangs I would probably go with something like Frozen Prime Reef with either spirulina or nori as well.

Jeff, I feed everyday. It is a cube that contains

garlic extreme, brine, mysis, squid, cyclopeez, silver sides, sea weed ( for the tangs) and blood worms... I give them one cube which they eat from my hands. Then two or three times a week I give 3 diff sizes of Golden Pearls..

I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them.

180 gallon money pit that I love.....

Mark has my Gumbo for sale.

Golden Pearls are little pieces (like little pearls) mostly made of brine shrimp.  It is a brand name by Brine Shrimp Direct (brineshrimpdirect.com) and if you look on this site someone is going there tomorrow (maybe two people???) to pick stuff up for people.  Good chance to get some.

I'm guessing Connie made her own cubes by buying those ingredients and mixing them all together.  Then, you just put it in an icecube tray (warn your wife first, forgetting to do this will cause several months before forgiveness) and freeze up your food. Then you just pop out a cube.  (I like very small ice cube trays, like 1 cubic centimeter).

I feed once per day, about the size of an ice cube.  Mostly frozen mush (Adamish food), sometimes frozen brine, sometimes flake or pellet, algae paste every day, cyclops or golden pearls about every other day.  Nothing on Sunday.  I'm probably overfeeding.

Jon- That's a lot of food.

Jeff- Kind of a recipe.  I'll be posting the new recipe in a few weeks, but for now, you can click on Presentations <--------  over there and see the Feeding a Reef presentation which has a lot of info regarding your questions.  I hope that helps, basically I mixed up a bunch of foods from the pet stores and seafood counter.

I do make my own. I will need to make more in a few weeks if youd like to go in on the cost we can mix up a batch an split it. I use very small cubes. I take the old trays the food comes in and refill them with the blended mush so they all get very little each day but do eat every day...

Actually, there is no BS in it. It's a secret formula manufactured in Europe for BSD.

I am holding several blocks of frozen gumbo for fish and coral, left over from the last meeting. About 8 oz. for $10. Call me if you want to come get some. I live near MSM.

Table scraps.  JK

I feed almost once a day an appetizer of flake, then feed a mix of BS, krill, racemosa, silversides and/or cyclopeeze... usually anyways. Also, I add marine snow once or twice a week when I remember. I am also trying coral accel a couple of times a week.
