There will be a lot of it on display on Saturday... and the guys who make it.
I like it for special things... like to cover overflows or to make tunnels for eels and things like that.

I like the idea of man made rock. I like the texture of this rock. What I have yet to see is Vida rock that has been made that looks natural. All the cups and swoops and thin ledges don't look like any LR I have ever seen. I think it is a matter of taste. I also think that it still remains to be seen how a tank with only this rock would fare in comparison to all the benefits of actual LR.

I've been using Vida Rock exclusively in my Nano since setting it up. It has now colonized with Coraline and is becoming more and more encrusted with corals. the more it matures the better it looks, Like most any reef rock. Here are some pics of the rock after 6 months. The Coraline is seeded only with that that came in on corals and some Garf Grunge I used shortly after setting up the tank.

I really like the way that is looking, I was just thinking about going another route most people havnt really gone yet... Is it pretty pricey? I would be stocking a 90 gallon with it. Where is a good place to see some pieces? I seen that Marine Aquatics had some......

They had some sweet pieces at Reef Fest yesterday. I think the product is starting to show up at most of the LFS in Salt Lake County. I know I have seen it at Fish 4 U and the aquarium recently and like Eric just mentioned he carries it as well. I think the price is comparable to Live Rock. I like that I can have arches and places to set the corals and still have plenty of open space for the fish to swim.

Anyone have any pics of them wrapping there overflows, or back wall with it?
I'm thinking about going this route(the vidarock) just to try something new, maybe throw in some LR to "seed" the Vida rock then take the LR out maybe?

That would work to kick start the bacteria growth in the rock. If your not in a hurry you can just seed it with some live sand and water. maybe a little rubble rock.

Wish I would have purchased a few pieces at the show. The rep did give me a few for free to take home to see if I liked how they looked and to see how they took on color in the tank.... His pricing is the same to just draw something up or go into the shop for ideas as the show it sounded like..

I was actually there today to pick up some pieces for my solana tank. I would call Jeremy Neff and ask if you can come by to see the pieces, if they don't work out you can have them draw up something and they'll make it for you.
