Topic: Stolen tanks Posted: August 23 2010 at 9:41am |
Pets & such in West valley had a white ~12' enclosed "Wells Cargo" trailer stolen about a week ago. It had in it: 210, 6ft 125, 6ft 75 55 40 and a ~40 gal. Mars refugium All tanks were brand new, black and all had matching black stands.
They were glass, and most likely "All-glass", Or "Aqueon" brand. I realize that even if these tanks are found, there is no way to prove that they are stolen. But they could lead to the trailer. But if you see anything like that, will you let me or pets&such know?
Oh, and Pets & Such is also offering some sort of reward to any information that leads to the recovery of the trailer.

You would think the trailer would easier to find than the tanks. Those are nice trailers and more expensive than the tanks probably. I would just be sick. I bet they find the trailer somewhere and the tanks should not be much farther away. Did someone know they were in there, inside job?

They probably just wanted the trailer. that's worth the risk right there.....
Have you been keeping an eye on ksl or craigslist for these tanks?

That sucks. My uncle had his trailer stolen a few years back in Phoenix. It was a custom built, bright red 'Snap on Tools' written across it, huge trailer. It was never recovered. So I really hope you guys get it back, or at least find the hole bites that took it.

I don't know how these tanks were secured inside the trailer, but there is a good chance the crooks may not have even known or cared about the contents of the trailer - and damaged or even destroyed the tanks during the heist.
