Just considering adding a copperband but I have four clams and am wondering whether or not this would be a safe fish in the tank. Different sources say different things. Thanks!

I bought a copperband after my LFS told me that it would be perfect for my aptasia problem, but to find out later that my tank wasnt big enough for one, and that they are a pretty picky fish when eating. i couldnt ever get my copperband to eat. I had him for about 5 days and took him back to my LFS. I have two clams and i never saw him around my clams or even interested in it, but i dont think that i even had him long enough for him to calm down and not be so stressed. I hope this helps

I have no idea how they would be with clams as I have none but I added a small copperband to my tank when I had very few fish and once he felt comfortable in my tank and was eating mysis. He has turned out to be one of my favorite and most beautiful fish I own.  He has doubled in size in 4 months.

I've never had one, but I'm always a proponent of the "try and see" method..

I had one before, and it picked on my Maxima Clam.  After one week I had him,  all of my feather feeders, coco worm and aptasia gone... It was one of my favorite fish.
