Well,

Jon F. and son, Shane H., Dave T., Adam B., Will S., and me all drove up to the Boise Reef Tour.  We also meet up with Suzy and Rob.

I took some pics for those that didn't make it.

You can view them here:

A wondeful trip in my opinion.  I think the rest of our club members missed out on a great opportunity for a fun get together road trip.

Come to a meeting, they’re fun!

I had a great time and ate some real good cookies (no matter what Shane says, oatmeal cookies should have raisins!).  But I think I might be obligated to buy a ruby now

I think I learned more about tank chemistry during this trip than from all the books I've read.

Great way to spend a Saturday.

OK Jon, what's happening on 4/29/05?

Can you do a write-up of what the pics are showing.  There are a couple of things I would like to know more about.

What would you like to know?

What I'd like to know is how the heck did I miss this: http://gallery.utahreefs.com/main.php?g2_view=core:ShowItem& amp;g2_itemId=818

Was it in Scott Morell's tank?

Nope,

I believe that was in the first house we went to (you know, the guy that doesn't think that baking soda will dissolve in water).

Jody,

Unfortunately I really didn't keep very good track of what picture came from what tank, but may be able to figure out some of the pictures by the time stamps.

If you have a specific question let me know.  If not I will try and post some info when I get some time.

Ahh... I remember.  He had the largest tank grown hydnohpora I'd ever seen!  Here's a few pictures I took.

A favia in the same as Jake's picture.

That huge hydnophora:

A very large montipora

My favorite tank (I think... maybe )

A closer shot of the lobo/symphyllia?

The cleanest tank in Idaho!

It was a great trip.  I quite enjoyed it.  The tanks were great, the people were great, (at least the ones who weren't know-it-all's,) and the company on the trip was great.  Oh yea, and those ribs at Tony Roma's were great too.

Only thing I see in the upper right is a powder blue tang in front of a pajama cardinal.

And that picture doesn't do it justice.  That was the biggest hydnophora I've ever seen.
