Power Company Letter

The irony is I was going to write this last night when I got home from the meeting and the power went out for 8 hours.  3rd time this year the power has gone out for major issues.  Has me thinking seriously about a generator.  You know you love your fish when you can't sleep because you are worried the airstones aren't enough. 

The letter I got cracked me up, said I had almost double the usage of my neighbors and how much more power I used and what I could do to save money.  On the back it said I was 97 out of 100 neighbors for efficiency.  I immediately thought there must be 3 other reef tank people in my neighborhood.  I will need to go meet them.

We had an issue with our AC that cause a spike in usage but the rest is all fish (although we try to be as efficient as possible).

Now I am waiting for the power company to send this letter to the police, where I get to explain to the unmarked car that will be waiting out front, its just a fish tank.  I felt like calling Rocky Mountain and saying - its just a fish tank or 2. 

Any one else get these letters?

Well no one comes in and out and I really don't think the bill is that much.  I guess my neighbors just don't have any fun (or AC).  The letter just cracked me up.  But yeah, I am waiting for them to send same letter to Sandy police.  No raids, that would be horrible.  They knock nicely they can feed my garden eels.  

Well it depends on what time they did it and if they destroyed his house in the process.  Hopefully he didn't lose a door out of it.  

It stated I doubled my neighbors usage.  Adding my 180 with 8x80 T5s has added about 40  dollars to my bill.  My apex gives me a power reading of how much amps I use and it is interesting to watch. I always factored it ran all the time but when they lights and heater are off, not much power is consumed.
