I was just looking at my tank, and thinking of the wonderful variety of life in it.

Each of my kids has chosen a tank favorite.

So to get started my all time favorite fish is the Banggai Cardinal fish.

Our Banggai is named Ben (Because Jessi loves him).

Jessi is my 14 year old daughter that crushes on nearly every boy she meets. We have a neighbor named Ben... Enough said there...

My second most favorite is the Coral Beauty angle, we have a juevinal in our tank, it's name is Zombie fish, because the kids always think it's dead...

What is your Favorite, I would love to hear the story.

Everything in life is possible. You just have to dream big, and act bigger.

I love them all, with some reservation.
Sometimes I write how I dislike that the "sand throwing goby" is one fish I never keep because of how it eats the microfauna in the sand bed and throws sand all over the coral. - but they certainly have personality. I have a favorite Bicolor Blenny that does this a little.

I love the Polka Dot/Panther Grouper, but they can get too big and eat their tank mates. Here is the only pic I have of this Grouper(circa 1997). He had to go because he was eating the Tomato Clownfish Larvae that I was trying to collect in the dark. Ouch
A beautiful Dwarf Lion was later in this same tank. It was fun.

The fish I called Mr Ray, because I had it shortly after the movie Finding Nemo come out, was one of my all time favorites along with his tank mates, Mr. Bat and a Tomato Clown.

Today my favorite is Dwarf Cuttlefish. I'm sure it will change tomorrow.

(Rockweed Gunnel is pretty cool too!)

Okay, I changed my mind. I'm going with Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker. Big smile
