Just curious. About 2 months ago I got some nice blasto frags from Steve. About a year ago maybe longer I got 2 blastomosa frags from The Aquarium. These frags have not done so well and are much smaller. They have finally started to grow/spread but they are still half the size of steves. So my question is , Are these maybe just not very healthy or do you think they are a smaller variety and will never get that big. We are talking about 1/2 the size of the common ones at least. Just thought it was kind of weird.

I think I've got the same kind. I got them at The Aquarium about a year ago. They've grown and spread, but the polyps are about half the size of most "normal" Blastos.

Maybe Steve adds a steroid to the water or something else. Maybe he adds special Mark fertilizer. Or something worse

My blastos are high performance blastos. I feed them slick 50 every 3 months or 10 fraggings which ever happens first. Oh that wasn't funny.
I'm sure there are many other nice growing blastos. I got mine from Fish 4 U about three years ago. Kris Fidone has some blastamussa I believe from the same mother colony and has commented on how happy he is with his too. I have taken frags of my blasto into Fish 4 U for quite some time and he has commented on how nice they look and welcomes all I can bring in.
I also have another variation of blasto that doesn't do nearly as well. I think I just got lucky with the ones I got from Fish 4 U.
Bruce, I'm glad to hear your blasto frags are doing well. The frags I got from you are doing good also.
