That was what I was thinking. Ive heard of icecubes used to make anemones or xenia detatch. wonder if that would work here. Worth a try i guess.

If you put a strong current on an anemone, i.e. shooting a powerhead at it or squirting a turkey baster at it, it will detach. I dont think that applies to mushrooms though.... I usually just cut shrooms right off the rock with a razor. Good luck!

Or you could leave them... If not, surgery with a razor.
