feed it shrimp...that's what I use to do. However if it is healthy you can just cut it in half.

I'm a little bit scared to just cut it in half. How big should it be before I do it. And I fed it krill last night but then this morn he spit it back out.

I have never had one spit food back out, how big is your rbta?  The last time I cut one in half it was only about the size of a silver dollar.  It might have been easier if it was a little bigger, however I still have both haves in my 120g and they are both bigger then the original one.

There has been some studies on this and they have found that rbta can split due to stress.
There was a guy at the UOFU that i met a few years back and he would make them split by leaving the lights on for a few days then leaving them off for a few days,This makes the rbta think there is a problem so they split and multiply. This is pretty common for people who order them online that they will split pretty soon after, This isn't a sure fire method but i have known people who have done this.

lol, its easy, just get some sharp scissors (just dont tell the wife you used her good pair to do it) and cut right through the mouth..SNIP and your done
