Huh?

we will probably need actual pics. if i were to guess i would say the first are feather dusters.

On the first one is it like 3 or so white arms that come out like little whips?

On the second one does it look like a piece of red putty or chewed gum stuck to the rock with some small bushy things branching up from it?

The first one has a LOT of very fine arms. They will retract into the tube occasionally or if something comes close to it. Right now the biggest one has a tube about the size of 2 pins put together and when the fingers fan out they're about the size of half a penny. They're about 5 of them spread around 2 rocks that both came from the LFS.

The second one it does kind've look like gum or putty. The branches aren't really bushy, they're thick and knobby. They're about half a centimeter round and stick out from the rock about half a centimeter. They're are about 10 of these spread around 3-4 rocks that came from a friends tank that he took down.

I'll try to get a picture tonight. I tried on my phone, but they're small enough that it's coming in fairly fuzzy.
