I've been taking some coral photos and thought I'd share.  It's hard for me to get the closeup shots in perfect focus.  I need a little more practice with the digital camera.

Nice Steve - I'd love the see a picture of the whole tank since it is a 92 corner bowfront just like MY NEW ONE!

Didn't mean to hijack the thread.

I'm starting to get the hang of my Canon A80 and to be honest was suprised that these shots came out as good as they did.

Now if I can just remember the settings...

By the way Steve, tripod and timer are essential for the real clear closeups.

Kmart has decent tripods for less than $30.00 and a cute table top one for like $7.00

Adam,

The camera I'm using is a Nikon Coolpix 5700.  It's not mine- I borrowed it from my sister and I'm a true digital camera newbie.

Brain,

Don't worry about the hijacking... your photos are excellent.  Thanks for the advice.

Susan,

Here's a full tank shot.  You should post some pictures of your new colorful montis.  I really want the blue next time.  My hydnophora got a bad brown jelly infection where it was injured so I fragged it and threw out the stinky rotten base.  Then I superglued the frags into a little "frag forest".  I hope the brown jelly is done- that stuff is horrible.
