is a calcium reactor needed or can you get by with out one,with chemicals can you keep your ph and calcium right.

I guess it depends on your budget. I use to dose two part in a 125 for over a year and it got to the point where i hated doseing. I now own a elite aquatics calcium reactor and i love it. I have quite a few sps in my tank and I think its the only way to go!  So if your going to buy the "sticks" as my wife says lol and we pay dearly for them, i think its worth the money to make sure these sticks have what they need to grow! Also with a calcium reactor you get a very small ph swing, with doseing i was constantly fighting ph and calcium swings.
