I bought one from Brad @ The Aquarium.
I have 4 MP40's in my tank already but what intrigued me was you could mount them on your overflow.
So after adding it to my tank I am amazed at the power these pumps have.  They are quite a bit larger than the Vortechs, but you can point them in any direction and they have different pulse settings with an easy to use controller. The short burst pulse has my tank actually waving. 
So far I am very impressed with it and I recommend them for any larger tank, and when they get the WP25's in stock, I plan on buying a couple of those and replacing my Korralia's in my 65g reef.

I couldn't see the manufacturers claim for gph. What is it?

I'm impressed with the old reliable and smaller Maxi-Jet 1200 which delivers 1200 gph. Placing them on the sand shooting up requires less powerheads to do the same job and gives wave action too. Two of them in a 90 would be awesome. I recently found them online for $20 each.

Placing the power heads on the sand, facing up. That seems to make lots of sense to me, but rarely do you see tank pics with them in that area.
Is this mainly due to oxygen exchange when placed higher in the tank?

Manufacturer claims low 1100gph and high 3400 gph for the jebao wp-40.

And you won't see them them on the sand in my tanks either, ...because I find easy ways to hide them behind rocks. See the pic below of my 40 gal breeder rimless with one MJ1200 for 1200 gph water turbulence.

With the powerhead on or near the bottom shooting up to the surface, gas exchange is at it's maximum. Moving low O2/high CO2 water from the bottom quickly to the top where it rolls the water surface is awesome for the best pH and tank health. It allows the entire tank to breath better.

Thanks for giving the gph rating. They are huge powerheads, so they better push a lot of water.

Again, for a 90 gal I would use two MJ1200's at opposite bottom corners shooting up to the surface near the center. I have experimented for almost 20 years with powerheads and found this arrangement to work better than anything else I have tried. It requires no controller yet causes wave action at the surface, but more importantly it creates water turbulence all around the tank. And perhaps best of all, two MJ1200's cost less than $50 delivered! Clap

You shouldn't put a wp40 down low and facing up in any tank; it will shoot water right out of the tank!
 
Shawn at Aquatic Evo has 1 of these in his new 150g show tank. He had to dial it down a bit, because full on the waves are too much for the tank...
 
It made great waves, and was pretty quiet. Quiter, IMO, than a vortech mp40...
 
I would think a minimum tank size for these things is a 6 ft 125g tank
 
Wait for the smaller wp25s for a 90g tank
