I tried to move my sump to put the new skimmer in and it cracked!! does anybody local have any acrylic glue? I have a thin piece of acrylic I can cut to glue it. or should I just use lowes clear kalking?

Silicone will only seal not bond.  I would think you would want strength and seal.  I would look for some weld on and bond a piece of plexi to it. I've got some but I'm not very close.

well Chad lent me some glue and the crack is fixed it doesn't look pretty but at lease I can start saviing for acrylic to make my own sump and refugium.thanks guys.

It's really good to make the stand taller and/or the sump shallower. I like a sump where I can easily install/remove equipment, have enough room to get my head in to look around and to get my arms in to work on plumbing. I also discovered how valuable it is to make large holes so a wrench can tighten/remove/install bulkheads.

Amen to that Mark! when I get my tank set up upstairs I am junking this stand it has caused me so much headaches I cant even tell you.
