So I cannot get the top of my stand to sit flush with my acrylic frag tank. Can I get away with using those pink foam sheets from Lowe’s? I keep reading both sides of whether this can be done safely or not

Just depends on thickness, that's what I have under my 300, works great, check on the compression ratio maintain the height you need you should be fine

I like the foam pad idea. I use it on my glass tanks.
