Well the tank is now 3 months old and I just discovered this guy today in the live rock right up front. He is mottled gray and is hard to see against the rock. He is living in a hole in the rock and appears to be eating brown algae off the rock and seems pretty active during the day. Any Ideas what he is and if I should keep him? He looks like a slug with no shell, two antenae and one visible mouth and is 3/4 to 1 inch long.

Bruce, I'm kinda thinking the same thing. I could have caught him today but left him. I fed phyto for the first time today and he came out imediately. Before this I have never seen him.

It might be a stomatella snail--they have shells, but the shell is really hard to see, and only a small area of what you see.  But could be some slug as well...  either way I say it's harmless.
Was that in there yesterday? Casper--WY windier than ?

Thanks. It is definitely a stomatella. You can see the shell in this picture though he is upside down.
