With my new 15 gal nano, I got this visitor that the presvious owner could never identify. It's on the same rock as two sebae anemones that have lived for 2 years.

Any ideas what kind it is? IT is approximately 3/4 of an inch across. It will only come out in the dark, so I had to snap this quick or it was gone. I'm trying to gather all the info I can on my new tank. Thanx.

Though I don't know its name, Crazy Tarzan has something like this as well, pictured below. If it mostly comes out in the dark, then my guess is that it is not a Majano/Colony Anemone, which is almost as much of a nusiance as Aiptasia.

I read on a page that used to be linked in some thread here that it is an orange _______  anemone.  They are nocturnal and don't get much bigger than about an inch or so.  The page linked to some catalog of corals etc up north--think it might have been a college....   anyone remember what thread had that link in it?
Was that in there yesterday? Casper--WY windier than ?

Down to a 20, soon to double or nothing

Found one place, but after looking at some pictures I"m not sure.  It is a possibility.

Orange Ball Anemone
These delicate and translucent anemones are rarely seen by casual snorkellers or divers because they are primarily nocturnal and live in crevices or caves, where they may avoid light. Their tentacles are tipped with bright orange balls and, if startled, the anemone retracts these tentacles quick as the blink of an eye. Orange Ball Anemones are not true anemones scientifically speaking, but to the layperson they look just like a typical anemone. Orange Ball Anemones are relatively small, with a disc diameter of one and a half inches.
