there used to be one for utah, but it was pretty inactive if I remember. I only ever got a response from someone one time and that was about 2-3 years ago. 

I got most of my plants and supplies on www.reddit.com/r/plantedtank. People sell and ship plants on there SUPER cheap. 

If you need to buy gear like lighting and Co2 tanks, i just got everything off of amazon. Petsmart/Petco do have some plants, but nothing to write home about. If you have any other questions, just PM me.

Since this is a forum for marine aquarium hobbyists, I was excited to see another person interested in creating a Macroalgae environment.  Big smile

I have a really nice planted tank.  Unfortunately I don't know of any local clubs right now that feature planted tanks.  Plenty of online resources, and local stores here as well.
