I am preparing to get a Ca reactor (build one myself based on a modified dimension of the DJ88 design) and I probably only have room for a 2.5lb CO2 canister. The reason for this (and also why I am building my on reactor) is that I like a really clean set up and I have limited under cabinet space with the refugium and other stuff down there.

So, how long will a 2.5lb bottle last in my 110g setup with a light SPS load?

That will be fine. Maybe with the lighter SPS load and the recirc two chamber design I will get a bit more. But, even 5 to 6 months is fine for me.

Dual chambers are the way to go. Also have you check out my DIY Ca reactor? - http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=28511&KW=caca

I've had it going for months now, it works like a champ, and it wasn't all the hard to make.

I like your design sculpin but I am afraid it wouldn't work within my space constraints nor would it maximize the quantity of media I could use in that space. I am building a two stage reactor based on the DJ88 rectangular design. The footprint will be 10"x11" and it will have a 6x5x15 mai chamber and a 2x5x15 secondary chamber. The remainder of the base will hold the pump with the venturi as in his design but with a right angle into the pump before or after the venturi so as to make the best use of the 5"x10" space on the base leftover from the towers.

Since I am sourcing it right now, what is the best place to get pre-cut cast 1/4" acrylic in SLC area?

I am having Delvies quote out my pieces but they seem to be fairly priced on their web site. I would prefer to have it pre-cut just to save me one more hassle.

Regional Supply in South Salt Lake has a fair selection of acrylic and I believe they'll cut it for you as well.
