I am wanting to get a mandarin. The question I have is which one is the easiest to keep? The green spotted? The tank is heavily populated in copepods and I also have a bucket culture going of copepods. Pam
I think they are both the same. I have two of the regular ones and one of the green spotted one. I really think if you can keep seahorses, you can keep mandarin alive
Your tank sounds large enough to support either, I think it just depends on which one you prefer. Buying a tank raised one or training it to eat frozen will improve your chances. I have been told that spotted mandarins are a little easier to train, but I have never owned a spotted so I can't confirm that. I have a green mandarin in my 57g that is doing great and eats frozen.
Here is what a customer said while on hold Oh my gosh! Did you open the door? I told you not to open the door. Dre is in here completely naked and he's got freak'n Macaroni and Cheese in his hands.
Mark, I'll take you up on that offer. Even if its just an excuse to say hi after a few lost years. Kirk
Kirk you beat me to it! Are you still going to take him up on his offer????......If so I am going to order one if not...let me know so I could pick it up on Thursday!!!
