I am wanting to get a mandarin. The question I have is which one is the easiest to keep? The green spotted? The tank is heavily populated in copepods and I also have a bucket culture going of copepods.

I think they are both the same. I have two of the regular ones and one of the green spotted one. I really think if you can keep seahorses, you can keep mandarin alive

Your tank sounds large enough to support either, I think it just depends on which one you prefer. Buying a tank raised one or training it to eat frozen will improve your chances. I have been told that spotted mandarins are a little easier to train, but I have never owned a spotted so I can't confirm that. I have a green mandarin in my 57g that is doing great and eats frozen.
