Do melanarus usually eat fighting conchs?
He leaves alone all of my shrimp, crabs, and snails. But cant help but eat fighting conchs?

They are known to eat snails and hermits. I'm sure the conch just probably looks like a better meal haha

Mine doesn't touch any of mine inverts. Keep them well feed and they should be fine.

no. Conch was added after and was very much alive. He would ram it to knock it over then he would try to have a nice meal.

29 gallon.
He is fed twice a day frozen and eats like a pig. If anything he is overfed.

The statement "eats like a pig" would indicate otherwise. Fed twice/day and yet is again famished at each feeding says to me that in between feedings it is trying to eat anything it can find. If it's over 3" long, it might need a larger tank. Wrasse are voracious eaters, constantly seeking more. They survive mainly on live bugs. My guess is that within a few days it devoured all the live bugs in the tank and has turned to other live foods.
