I purchase I cleaner wrasse from liverocknreef to help with ich on my hippo tang he was out after I put him the tank trying to clean my yellow tang but he got chase by my stripe damsel now he is in a whole in my rock hiding for a few hours should I be worry and also he didnt came out during feeding time

No, i wouldnt be to worried. I got a niger trigger a while back and after being fully introduced and using an aclimation box, he hid for at least three days. he would skip out on the feedings usualy. And to this day, he still is a little shy once in a while. But yours is in a new home, and damsles are pretty aggressive when it comes to territory, but did you use an acclimation box??

Unfortunately, cleaner wrasses don't actually eat the ich parasite. The white spots that you see are not the parasite itself but damaged skin above the parasite. The cleaner wrasse will eat the damaged skin and you will notice a reduction in the white spots but the parasite is still there. You should QT the hippo and treat with hyposalinity or copper. If you don't QT, then the rest of your fish may get ich too, including your new cleaner wrasse.

Well today he's out eating mysis and clranimg everyone including the hippo which is still scare of him the wrasse is eveng cleaning the damsel which is not chasing him as much anymore

I would love to set up a qt system but I just don't have the space for one right now

Update* he is the tank for 2 days and te ich on the hippo tang is almost gone he's cleaning everyone and he is also eating thanx to those that answer my question
