Topic: Post Meeting Dinner Venue Posted: January 04 2008 at 5:27pm |
We need a new place. One that will allow us to mingle and give us the ability to interact with more people. Perhaps it has something to do with my lack of a timely exit strategy after the meeting, but 9 times out of 10, I end up sitting at the very end of a very long table. I heard from lots of other folks that a change is in order. What do you say presidenscy? Any ideas?

I agree fully. I don't have any great ideas though.

I also agree, yet I don't have any recommendations. I have been placed at the end of the table a few times and miss out on all the good conversations.

I've tried telling you. Just sit by me and you'll have all the great times.

Agreed here, too. I don't mind SLP&P, but maybe it's time for a change. I'll look around when I'm eating lunch in the vicinity. I suggested Roosters, but too bad it's in Layton and Ogden. There are plenty of restaurants downtown, but that's probably too far. There's an Olive Garden nearby- anyone know when they close?

Unfortunately all of the restaurants that are really nearby close at either 9:00 or 10:00.
How far would people be willing to travel for after meeting dinner? 1/2 mile, 1 mile, 3 miles, 5 miles?
