Ever since strating into the world of SPS corals I have been searching for a good place to buy aquacultured corals.  Anyone know of a good place to but aquacultued corals?  Trading frags is probably one of the best ways but for someone starting out I don't have much to trade currently so purchasing is the best option.

Most or all the LFS in the SLC valley sale wild colonies or wild frags so I'm at a loss.  Garf is about all that comes to mind but they will not ship to Wyo after our last event...  any ideas?

There was Mike Paletta's place somewhere in the midwest. He was growing small and larger colonies of SPS, but I don't know if he sells direct or through stores.

I don't know what Wyoming's "last event" was. Is it something you can share?

Well it's a long story but thier normal carrier does not deliver to Evanston.  Out of respect for Garf all I'll say is they made things right & given the opertunity I would purchase from them again.  Thier frags are by far the healthist I have.

Talk to Sean Spargur.  He has ordered aquacultured corals many times from places like SeanBennett.com and all the rest.  I'm sure he can help (Sspargur)

www.garf.org  sometimes runs a special 10 for $100.00 on some fantastic SPS coral frags that are aquacultured.  They are small frags, about 1 1/2 inches - sometimes having multiple frags per a reef plug, but are very well shipped and are cultured under VHO's.  This is what I started with and several of them are growing well and are really choice looking color wise.  Just a thought...

300 gal. Frag System
300 gal. Live Rock Vat
240 gal. SPS/Clam Reef Tank
135 gal. SPS/Clam Reef Tank
75 gal. Softies only Tank
65 gal. LPS/Softies
24 gal. SPS/Softies Nano Reef
