I ordered Cat's Paw and this is what I got. It feels soft like it has a skin on it. It has not opened up yet but is covered in polyps. Is is some sort of gorgonian.

I know all that Eric, that's why I know this is not what that is. I just found out I got the wrong thing and it is a gorgonian.

From the picture (although it doesn't show the coral very close), it looks very much like an encrusting gorgonian commonly imported from the east coast out of Florida.

Since you have had trouble in that tank with your last Gorgonian, may I suggest a coralsitter until your new tank is set up. I know just the one too.

I've talked to Alex - there was a mixup in the order. I'm going to brind it to him at the meeting tonight. All is well . Junior - since you know who we both are, maybe you can hook us up.

Yeah it'll be easy to spot Alex. Just look for the 6'11" guy. He plays forward for the Jazz.
