For some reason I love the green star polyp not sure why but something intrigues me about it.  I have been contemplating removing it off the plug it came on and mounting it on the back of the tank, anyone ever seen this how did it look and how would I do it, THANKS!

I love it too! I know a lot of people hate it but I don't. It can get out of hand so just keep an eye on it but for the most part it's great.
I have seen someone put it on the back of the tank and I thought it looked great. It's better then a plain ole back :).

I have gsp growing all over the back wall. All I did was lean a rock that was already covered against the wall and the gsp did the rest.
Yep, that's my money pit......It keeps me broke and entertained.

I love this look too! I think it looks so cool. In fact I have a rock leaning against the wall of my tank right now waiting for it to do this very thing.

It will spread to the back wall but if you're impatient you can glue it to the back wall with super glue gel.

Before I had to sell everything, the entire back of my tank was GSP.
I loved the look but after I got so much, I could swear it had an effect on other coral's growth. Maybe the stuff I had was turbo gsp or something because it covered the back of the tank very fast and started to grow down onto the rocks. It overtook button polyup and zoa colonies. Just wiped it out. It would kill xenia and mushrooms too. Im convinced that gsp must have one of the most deadly territorial toxins when fighting for realestate. It does look cool but when i set up my next tank, I wont touch it with a 10 foot pole.
Life is good....right?
