I just got a royal gramma tonight and noticed he had a few spots of ich on him :( whats the best way to treat him? I'm a super noob at treating fish with ich, and i'm a t little scared that i might lose my little gramma :( can anyone help me?

(also, if i got a cleaner wrasse, or cleaner shrimp, would that take care of it? Or should i do something more?)

I would just keep feeding it with a garlic treated food preferably but royal grammas are pretty hardy I think it will come through no problem for ya.

What?! You pooped in the refrigerator, and ate the entire wheel of cheese?! I'm not even mad.... That's actually amazing!

To help you further, please share what other fish are in the tank and if possible, please post a pic of the tank.

Hey I know this is an old post but Im having a problem with ich on my royal gramma and searched and found your post. I started feeding garlic soaked food yesterday.  Did this help with your gramma and did it finally overcome the ich?  Did it ever come back?  any info very appreciated!

garlic will work wonders against Ich. Just be diligent with soaking all food in garlic oil at every feeding until the Ich is gone, then feed garlic oil every now and again to keep it away. I usually feed my tank food soaked in garlic oil once per week.

will do thanks, I've noticed that my gramma has gotten better since I started feeding with garlic oil so hopefully that keeps helping.  Thanks again.

The first time I used Garlic Oil, it was about 2003 for a Blue Tang in a friends tank. The terrible infestation was almost completely gone overnight!Shocked
And it has been working like a miracle ever since. That's why I am so vocal and ambitious to share the method with everyone. It's here in the "Tips and How to's" section under "Secrets of adding new fish and the Miracle of Garlic Oil"
