It is spelled "aiptasia" I've heard good things about Red Sea's Aiptasia-X.

I bought some Aiptasia X last month on Ebay. Works a lot better than the kalk paste I tried before because they actually try to eat it.

Is joe's juice a kalk past? I've been using joe's juice with good results but make sure you shut off your pumps and powerheads before you use it.

The biggest problem with stabbing and shotting an aiptasia with anything is that they can send out spores if you aren't careful. Sculpin is right, make sure you turn off powerheads and pumps because those spores will spread in your tank and you will get an outbreak of aiptasia somewhere else in your tank months down the road. It only takes a single cell for aiptasia to reproduce. If you can take the rock out and shoot the aiptasia while in a bucket of saltwater, that is even safer. Then rinse off the rock with saltwater before putting it back in the tank.

You actually can squirt manjano and/or tulip anemones with joes juice or a kalkwasser paste with success. They don't send out spores. If you end up not killing them completely, they just come back...they don't come back as 100 babies. If you have the option of taking the rock out that they are on, then they are really easy to get off. All you have to do is place the rock upside down in a bucket of saltwater, wait about 30 minutes, and then flip the rock over and pop them off with a toothpick or small knife. You will be amazed how easy they pop off.

Peppermint shrimp do eat aiptasia. Although it can be touch and go. I would give it a try before you rip you reef apart to take the rock out.

I had a little bit of a problem and added four peppermint to take care of it and they did a great job. The smallet ones are completely gone and they have been picking at the big ones.

I have used Joe's Juice several times and had so/so luck with it. After trying a lot of different things I finally found a solution I like for both types of anemones
I mix a thick paste of Kalkwasser with hot water. I then then put it in a syringe and, after turning off the pumps, BURY the offender completely with the paste. Give the kalk 15 or so minutes to set up and then turn the pumps back on. I just let the paste sit until it disolves into the water. Be careful not to let this sit on Zoanthids though, I've had a full colony die after burying a pest anemone in the middle of the colony.
This method will even kill those nasty green Palythoa that keep creeping in and killing my other corals.

I agree with Jon, Joe's Juice is also quite a bit thinner than I like.
