Has anyone used these? If so, do they work? Where and how do you mount them? I want to drip some Kalkwasser. My DIY jug does not work. It keeps getting plugged, or pours in too fast! I even put an airline valve on it to slow things down! BTW, I tried putting the valve in the air line/vent and in the output (water) line.
Also, does anyone know where I can pick up some calcium hydroxide? (Pickling lime) I am out of it!
TIA,
Rodney

Try Walmart or any other place providing home canning supplies. I just bought a 16 oz. (453g) can of pickling Lime from the Walmart in Logan for about $1.75. A way better price than buying Kent Kalk. for about $10. for half the amount.

Today I tried Albertson's, Smith's, WalMart, Wild Oats, Spoons & Spice, Harmon's, and the Neighborhood WalMart. None of them had any pickling lime. BTW, all these are in South Jordan and/or Jordan Landing.
Anyone have a specific store near South Jordan they know that has pickling lime?

I have not found any pickling lime in Salt Lake period. I would try a
chemical shop. There is one in west jordan but I forget the name (try
dexonline).
I don't understand why local fish stores don't buy this in bulk from
the chem shops and sell it in bags for 2-3$ a pound. I would buy it.
