We are planning to move soon and I'm getting pieces ready for having the sump in the basement.
I've seen at places like Bird World under their fish tank, Big plastic containers that they use as a sump.

I think one would be perfect for what I'm looking to do, where do you get those or something similar?

Thanks
Kevin

Walmart is a great place for the inexpensive storage tubs that work great and last a long time. They can be reinforced with a simple wood collar to keep them from bowing out.
The heavy duty tubs/water troughs are at farm supply stores and industrial container distributors.
If you are going to spend the high price for a water trough, might as well consider a used 55 or 75 gal aquarium.
Personally, I liked having a 40 gal breeder tank for a Refugium. It's nice to be able to see into it.

Take into consideration your watee volume, the bigger the pump the more water to drain the more that air gets intrduced and has to settle out before it goes to the return pump. A simple water container or storage bin isnt allways the best alternative, contact tyler at elite aquatics

I thinking something bigger than 100 gallons, this will support two 210 tanks and a few small. I want lots of macro growing and the equipment.

Somebody has a trough already set up for a pump, on the board right now....
180 Gallon, 75 gallon, 30 gallon, 5 gallon. On a side note: I have just now decided that "Gallon" is a funny looking word.
