Any one have any? What do you think of them? What is the going rate at a LFS? I am looking to purchase one when my larger tank is fully operational.

I've always wanted one. They go for around $75-$150 depending on size at the LFS. but i've only seen a couple that actually looked magnificent. i ended up getting a regular foxface because of the price

The more red they have on the dorsal and anal fins the higher the price is. Also as is with size. The more average price to get one would be around $100 for a nicer specimen looking around $150-$190

I havn't seen any small ones availible most are larger and demand a high price, best bet is online but even then it could cost you close to or even more than $200 for shipping and everything.

Beautiful fish, deffinitley on my wish list I'm just waiting for one I really like, The colors can vary quite a bit on them.

Petco in Bountiful had the Foxface for under $20 on special last week. I picked up one and yes they are terrific algea eaters. Mine has virtually cleaned up my rocks from a hair algea problem. He now has a pot belly and looking for more. They are a great addition to a tank.
