This is an upgrade from an idea/way for anyone to remove Tulip/majano anemones from the tank. I have only witnessed this working on majano (very well) I think it would work on Tulip, and I dont think it would do so well on aiptasia.

Place a mat of Chaeto over the pests and secure it there so that it is directly against them. It will shade them from the light and they will crawl through it. When They reach the top remove the little buggers and sell them on ebaySmile.  E-bay listing:

                              Gorgeous Anemone rock for sale

Now you to can own your own little piece of the reef. These Beautiful animals are amazing to watch. They are hardy and prolific so enjoy and then share them with fellow reefers. Only ten dollars per anemone at this price. BUY IT NOW! and I will include some cute little nudibranchs That love to hide and play amongst your corals, these mysterious little critters have unusual habits try to find what they like to eat in your tank. For the first ten BUY IT NOWS! I will include a beautiful Glass Anemone but only one since these babies are hard to catch, watch them closely and see what they had for breakfast.

Well, there seem to be some extra flat worms around and you could sell them as a bundled deal!  (you know, biodiversity Wink

I'm going to try this today.  I have some tulip anemones in and around a zoa colony.

Hope it works.

When you give it a try give it time. I have noticed the Tulips are more reluctant to move, make sure the Chaeto presses against them. Please make sure to keep the price high on e-bay we dont want to damage the market for these beauties!Wink

Here is a picture of the spot before and after the application of the cheato.  I leaned two plastic rods over it to keep it all in place.

I am just going to leave it like this over the weekend and see what there is to see on Monday.

Jared, are you sure you didn't steal one of my pics for the first one.  My tank looks just like that.  Tulips everywhere.  I hate them now.  Why won't they just die?Angry

I'm trying Joe's Juice right now and after a couple applications they are actually starting to dissappear.  It it doesn't work I'll have to try this method myself.

It works on Tulips very well, I have several basking in the lights on top of a large mat of Chaeto. Big smile

If you include the aiptasia eating nudibranches then you will have a constant supply for your market with keepers wondering why they can't keep the elusive glass anenome alive.

Ok I am so stoked this method is now working succesfully on Aiptasia as well. Just remember you heard it here first. Or did you?
