I ran into this and thought I'd put it out there in case anybody is ready for new bulbs. I'd be all over this if I needed new bulbs. I've never ordered from these guys before so I can't speak to their service but it seems to be a great price......$49.95 for 250's!

Hey guys!
I can get you that same price on the Phoenix bulbs and get you really good prices on other bulbs too through Reefgeek. They will be shipped to Reef Runners and can be picked up there or I can bring some home to Lehi if that is easier. I just need to get an order together of at least 12 bulbs or so. Let me know if there is interest so we can get an order together.

I went the other day at like 2:45 because I heard they opened at 2pm and the door said opens at 2 but no one was there and there was a couple other people that showed up while we were waiting and they said they have been by a few times and they are never there. We tried calling the store but just got the answering machine and it doesn't have the store hours or anything on there either and that's an hour drive from my house so I was pretty dissappointed that they weren't there. So we went to Aquatica instead.

Man, that sucks, its hard enough to get people to come by a LFS at this time of year and this kind of uncertainty can kill a business. I hope they get this together...its not the first time I have heard this...is this the same business that used to be in Lindon in the same shopping center as UCMT? If so, a while back I also came by that store during posted hours and they were closed.

Ryan I would actually be willing to pick up bulbs for people up north and they can meet me somewhere and / or pick them up from me. If you order the bulbs by tues when will they be here? I still want to check out reef runners it's just so far to go not knowing if they will be there when I show up so I would need to know that you are going to be there when I head up there. Let me know what you think.

If you can be the north pickup that would work out great. So far I have a few people interested but would like to still get more. If we order next Monday or Tuesday they should be here Thursday, Friday at the very latest.
Just call either me or the store before you go to Reef Runners next time. My number is in my signature and the store number is 801-226-FISH(3474). Like I said, either John or I should be there during posted hours.
We are gonna have a HUGE sale for members only in about 2 weeks so be watching for that post. We are even opening early that day for the sale. It should be on Saturday the 19th. I am sure John will post all the details soon in the Members Only section. We are looking at either 25% off all livestock or buy one get one half off. I need to confirm everything with John first.

I may be interested in XM 15k 250w moguls if the price is right and I don't have to pay the tax. Otherwise, I will probably just reorder from these guys http://www.reefopticslighting.com/bulbs.html since I have been running them for 9 months now and they have been real good to me...color and intensity has been consistent for 9 months...but if I can get Phoenix or XM for just slightly more, I would go that way.

The Phoenix bulbs only come in double end from what I can find. The XM's are gonna be roughly $55 or so. If you pay me then there shouldn't be any tax. I need to talk to John and see about that.
