I picked up a school of 3 purple queen anthias, the aquarium
showed me and they are eating mysis very well. I just want to supply a
variety for them. Last night as soon as I put them in they were already
checking out the new home and I saw them eat a couple mysis.
My question is what are other people out there feeding their anthias.
What are some of the best foods I could get?

Josh,
Purple queen anthias are notoriously finicky eaters and hard to keep. If yours are eating mysis shrimps, that is very encouraging and I would keep on giving them that since that is the most nutritious food available. Scott Michael also recommends having a refugium to give them some live food from time to time.
The easier to keep anthias such as lyretail, Bartlett, bicolor, redbelted will eat just about anything, including flakefood.

k well they are eating the mysis and I have a refugium full of pepermint
shrimp larvae nd pods so i will see how they go

I second what Dinhkim said, they are the more finiky eaters as to what I have read and researched. I have two Bartlett anthias and they will eat anything, spectrum pellets, brine, plankton, reef plankton, cyclopeze. These are really cool fish though.

I saw your new fish at the Aqurium. They are huge and look awsome. I have a few anthias; bartletts, carberryi, and I think the other two are blue-eyed anthias. They must all be the ones that eat anything because they eat anything. The carberryi seem to be very fond of cyclpeez.
