Needs a flat inside surface for the little sealed magnet capsule to spin on. Also needs an air pump which adds to the cost. Seems to me the typical magnetic stirrer with the regular electric motor base would work the same.
 
I guess you are trying to avoid having a powerhead electric wire running out of the pressurized kalk reactor, right?

Magnetic stirrers can be bought on ebay for around $20.
