I was staring at my tank again this morning with a flashlight and I saw something that I have never seen before. I asked for help identifying it and I think we finally figured out what it is. A flatworm. I have planaria(plagues of them) so I know what those look like. This flat worm is about 1.5" wide, paper thin, and about 3 inches long. Here is the closest picture I could find online of what it looks like. just thought that I would share my new discovery with you guys. |

Very cool. Keep us updated on the fight against flat worm. It'd be great if velvet nudibranch could be kept in our aquarium. It's gorgeous!

| I got the flame angel and the nudibranch from LiveAquaria. So far the nudibranch doesn't move to far from where I first introduced him. He is obviously eating though because he is a round ball from eating so much. My sand is literally brown from all of the flat worms, and then there is a white circle about the size of a quarter around the nudibranch from where he has eaten. I'll start a new thread and call it "blue velvet nudibranch" and list what I find out about him. |
