I am looking to purchase an internal UV setup for my tank, I have a petsmart gift card to use up, and they are selling two different ones.
Is there a such thing as a too much when it comes to UV? They have 9 watt for $49, and a 26 watt for $59! It would be bouncing between my 15 and my 37 gallon tanks, is there a watt per gallon rule to stay within?

A 24 watt UV sterilizer for $59 is a steal. What is your goal for the UV, killing algae or parasite control. Either way definitely go with the 24w, run your flow through very slowly 100-200 gph or less for parasite control.

I think I have the 9w turbo twist on my 120 and I only ran it a few hours a day because when I ran it 24hr my pod population almost completely died off. So I would say that technically the 9w one would do the job, However for the price I would get the 24w one.

Went ahead and did the 9w, It was actually $39... It's an internal setup, and come with the powerhead and everything.
They have great deals on these!
