For those of us who are planning on donating corals to the Frag Fest, it would be awesome if you could get some pictures in advance and post them in this thread.
Here is a start of the corals the club is donating: (please don't drool over the keyboard.)
Sorry for the bad pics. I was in a hurry before lights out. Better pics to come.

I will be going home with the war coral, so let me be the first to implement the international law of "dibs".

haha nice Steve but I don't know if people will let you claim that war coral so easily... Luckily I just acquired a nice war piece.

Come on Chad the good people of WMAS aren't savages... they all know that the law of dibs always applies.

I'll be donating a large chalice to be fragged up (or something of the like), so you can grab a piece of that. I'll post a pic of whatever it ends up being soon

I like the idea of leg wrestling instead of letting you get away with dibs :) I'm probably going to donate some nice chalice pieces also.

Anyone else care to post some pics of what they will be bringing?
Here's a couple more teasers from the club to get you started. (unfortunately my photo skills are lacking. All of these look much better in real life.)

And here's one we will be auctioning off.

I just found out there will be Frozen Silversides at the meeting for such a good price no one can pass on them. They may even be free.
Also, i will have Frozen Mysis, Brine, Bloodworms and Krill. Anyone who didn't get them before now has a chance to get some in smaller quantiites. $1.00 each for Blister packs and $3 each for large flats of Bloodworms. There will be a limited quantity at the meeting, but I have plenty more at my home for anyone who wants to stop by and pick up any day after the meeting.

Great fest, lots of amazing frags.
Where did the war corals come from? Mine is looking awesome. I've never had one before, how does everyone recommend keeping them? The pieces are small, is it best to mount them to a rock or plug? Tank location.
------------- Indefinite hiatus from sw aquariums.
Once I have my glorious return I'll set back up the following. 50 Gallon rimless cube. 180 Gallons mixed reef paradise

I'm glad to hear your War coral is doing well. I personally have mounted mine to a plug. The one I bought in November at the Reef Fest had easily tripled in size on it's plug. I also got one a couple months earlier at Marine Aquatics and it has grown to almost 5 times it's original size. Mine have been growing on the substrate, but I suspect they will do well almost anywhere in the tank.

This was taken one hour after I put it in the tank. Pretty amazing that everything is already out and happy. Got that rack from a buddy just for everything I got last night.
