hello all,
just moved into town last month. This is my 1 1/2 yr old 25G that weathered the 500 mile move pretty well.

nice to come to a place where other people actually have tanks too.

Very nice!  Love the rock structures!  I'm about to make a 2000 mile move with my reef tank out there, so do you have any tips?

I had a frag tank at a friends that I moved all my corals and rock into before the move. I took up the tank, sand and some rubble and let it cook for a week then went and picked up all my stuff. I bagged it all and put it in coolers for the drive. Three of my sps colonies didn't make it but everything else seems to be settling in nicely, For 2000 miles I might try and set all the livestock up with a friend and only bring your rock. Then once everything is setup they could overnight or air freight your corals to you.

I think that's going to be our plan.  Wow, I'm impressed you drove everything.

What brings you to SLC & where do you hail from?

Thanks.
My wife is doing grad school at the U and we came up from Flagstaff, Az. It wasn't a bad drive. I brought the tank in the moving truck and had to fly back anyways and get our other car. I was planning on bringing my frag tank too but I couldn't make it fit in the car.
