ATI powermudule or sunpower? Anyone that can give me some details of your experience with either one of the fixtures please respond or pm me.

| sunpower.....powermodule is slightly better, but only roughly 5% or so, but costs quite a bit more...I'd go with the sunpower, unless you got money to burn. |

| If you have a larger deeper tank, or want higher par levels because of reflectors then you will want to go Powermodule. Powermodule fixtures can have more bulbs up to 10 bulbs per unit. |

I just picked up a sunpower 60 inch 8 bulb unit and it is fantastic on my 180... Within a week I saw growth..... No need to spend the extra on a power mod IMO... ------------- I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them. 180 gallon money pit that I love..... |

| For your cube, I think you will have to go with the Powermodule 10x24 fixture to get the coverage. You might be able to run the 8x24 fixture, but I have never seen one available in the Sunpower, and still get the coverage you will want. Don't think you will need the Powermodule over the Sunpower, but might need 2 4x24 Sunpowers to get your coverage. I think you will be very happy with which ever one you end up with either way, both are great fixtures. |

The 8x24w ATI Sunpower is more than enough for a 93 cube. The Powermodule isn't worth the coin unless you really need to go to 10 bulbs or have a tank deeper than 30". Quickness, The dimmable Sunpowers are nice but I am hesitant about dimming T5s. ATI says it doesn't hurt bulb life but a lot of lighting experts say that it will.

I have the Powermodule and Love it! My LPS have colors that are brighter than I have ever seen and my SPS are starting to look awesome(I had a brass fitting problem that slowed my tank maturity so sps are just barely being added). I don't know if the difference between powermodule and sunpower would be worth it. It might help the bulbs last longer with long term savings and greater PAR for a longer period. I run the same bulbs as Nick. We should do a test and see if there is much of a differance.
