i have an aqua lifter on my 54 gallon tank right now and it works perfect. but i am looking for a top off pump for my 120 build. it will be an open top so i would imagine that evap will substantially more. would an aqualifter be running pretty much nonstop? maybe a maxijet 400?

i will run ato through my apex and autotopoff.com float switches if that matters.

i like that i can run it dry without ill effect. my current system runs once an hour for about 7 min. on the bigger system i can run it every 20 or 30 min...

I go through about 25 gals a week on my 120 and my aqualifter ran by my ato has no problem keeping up.
