I squirt mine with a mix of mysis and that fuel stuff and I get new heads all the time. Everyone does it different, though

I only feed my space monster palys because they're the only ones that easily accept it. And they are growing really fast

There are a variety of coral food. I use reef dna, oyster feed, phyto plankton. Fuel is also a simlar food at a good price. some zoas need very small food to eat. (Below 50 microns or so I believ). So it all depends on the demands of your coral.

Like it was mentioned above, you need to figure out which softies will actually accept food. If you drop small mysis or brine in them and they grab it, close up, and open a few mins later with the food gone, then it eats. Most small polyps don't accept food IME.
It's important to mention that you don't HAVE to feed zoanthids or palys. They will continue to grow just fine without food. That being said, I personally enjoy giving my palys a snack from time to time when I have time to spot feed some of my corals.

Yes, not all zoanthids will accept food, and when they do accept it, it will depend on food size. Also, many people lump zoanthids, palythoas, protopalythoas, etc. all under zoanthids. Protopalythoas will eat insane amounts of food...of just about any size and variety.
As far as feeding, I do a homemade blender mix of raw seafoods, algae, garlic, amino acids, and a bit of sugar.
