Fellow Marine and Reef enthusiasts,
We have added a section to the IMAS website, at http://www.idahoreefs.org - http://www.idahoreefs.org , for calculators. There are the following calculators: Build your own stand from 10 to 125 gallons (Similar to store bought stands). When Zech gets back from Tx, he will complete the assembly diagrams. Currently they are something I just whipped up on a cheap program I have. Sand Bed Calculator - Calculates the amount of aragonite sand needed for your sand bed.
Tank Volume Calculator - Ball park estimate on the amount of water volume in the tank. Enter the amount of live rock and sand. Vacation Calculator (Evaporation) - Calculates how much salinity will change with evaporation and adding top off water.
Plenum Calculator - Creates material list and assembly instructions, (For those of us that still swear by them!)
Here is a list of calculators that are currently in the works:
Build your own large stand up to 500 gallons. We are waiting for Zech to get back so we can verify the data with his CAD program and he will also create the assembly diagrams. Low profile canopies that will work well with the vastly superior VHO lights or adequate PC/T5 lights
High profile canopies that will work well with the mediocre Metal halide lighting. These canopies would also work well with the vastly superior VHO lights or adequate PC/T5 lights. These canopies will be fairly tall and have doors on the front and sides for easy access.

Scott, You may want to add some verification on your forms (i.e make sure they are filled out). Other wise you get errors.
