What are some ways people have secured rock into different forms?

Is there a glue/bondo/silicon/cement that will hold the rocks together, and at the same time is reef safe?


Open to suggestions.........

Depending on the structure you can drill the rocks and insert plastic/acrylic rods into the holes to stop the rocks from shifting. Some people drill holes and use zip ties too. I use AquaMend two-part epoxy from Home Depot. It works very well on rocks and makes a strong bond. If the rock has been in the tank for a while then I use an old toothbrush on the area I am applying the glue to remove much of the algae first.

If I lean rock against the glass in a corner, should I worry about any water movement behind it, or will it be fine?

When I did that I pointed a nozzle from the closed loop to blow between the rock and the glass so detritus didn't collect there.
