I'm looking to buy a TDS meter. What brand is most reliable? What's a reasonable price to pay for one?

I've always bought the ones from BRS and never had one go bad. Not the cheapest, but they seem to be good ones.

As infrequently as hobbyists actually need to use a TDS meter, there are plenty to choose from for less than $20 which are reliable for a decade. I found a Milwaukee brand TDS meter online for $15.95. Milwaukee is a very trusted brand that was in business way before our hobby started using purified water.
I need to say something regarding stores that cater to our hobby. There are so many items that are significantly less money for the exact same basic item and/or even better quality when purchased from sources outside the hobby. I could list dozens of such items. Sorry, I don't mean to offend, but I've been at this hobby so long that I have become discriminating of the hobby stores. Don't get me wrong, I buy from hobby stores when the purchase makes sense.
Aloha, Mark

Got one through airwaterice. It's the company I won my mighty might from in a members bbq raffle.
