Are you suppose to feed these guys or will they be fine by themselves. Also if I try to feed it will the clown fish drag the food out before the anemone gets a chance to eat it?
If you put the food on a skewer and let the anemone wrap it's tenticles around the food, the fish shouldn't be able to pull out the food from it. I would feed it a bit of silverside or a chunk or shrimp, soaked in selcon.
Anemones should both be fed and be given high light for the zooxanthelae to convert their food internally.
My clowns feed their nem. Sometimes. Then sometimes they give it and take it back and just tease the nem. Sometimes they eat and don't share at all. Moody little suckers!
I feed mine silversides and/or krill every few days. I have some that feed their anemones and some that just carry the food around looking for something to do with it. There are times when the clowns take the food away, but the anemones don't really need to be fed, but they do grow faster if you feed them.
And like Sean said if the anemone grabs the food it's not likely the clowns can take it away, and it could be that the anemone isn't hungry right now and just isn't grabing the food. You should be able to tell when it really wants the food cause it will puff up and wrap around the food.

I fed mine shrimp every other day for two monthes and two of the three split. that gave me 5 so I sold/traded 3 and now have 2. I only feed once a week now.
after I upgrade to my 120 from the 65 I might feed them more again so they split.
