I am head that way fairly soon and my time in waikiki is extremely limited. Is it worth going to? How long does it take to go through it. Do they have any coral displays?

I have seen the website but it doesn't seem to show me much.

One other question -- any one have any recommendations for scuba diving companies/locations off of Kauai?

The aquarium in Waikiki is rather small. It is situated on the end on Waikiki beach.  It does have a couple of the Largest Clams I have ever seen.   They also have a 500-750 gallon tank that is outside and naturally lit that is gorgeous.  As for colorful coral, although limited, it more colorful than all of the islands together.
It is worth the short visit I think. Honestly the best aquariums are the ones we share with each other. Rarely do large aquariums put their resources to work to maintain a full on Reef Tank.

I've been there a couple of times and enjoyed it going both times.  You can spend 30 minutes up to a couple of hours if you wanted.
