I just got a 2nd pink sunk clown and it won't eat dry food; it will take it in its mouth then spit it out. It goes after frozen cyclopeeze like crazy though. What does everyone here feed their clowns; I'd like to try a few different things.

Eh I can barely cook for the family let alone make homemade fish food.

Jordanh - I notice that same thing w/ my clown, he/she only eats live/frozen foods.  So I've just kept him/her on that - but I also think live foods helps the fishies live longer.

The only thing that gets processed pellets are my cichlids.

I puree shrimp from the store and then lay it out on a cookie sheet and freeze it.  Then break off a small piece and feed the tank with that a few times a week.  I also feed cyclopeze and live or frozen brine shrimp (with liquid).

I guess I'm kind of lazy when it comes to feeding cause I feed all my fish flake. I've had several go a couple weeks before they would eat it but after they get the taste for it they seem to love it.  If you look at the labels between frozen and flake, the flake looks much more nutritious.

I feed a variety of frozen (brine, mysis, cyclopsis thought that is for the others) and then they get nori or sea salad that they compete with the tang for.  They are also liking the boyds pellets.  I can't say that mine have every turned down eating anything, including my fingers!
