Hey Johnny! How's your piece of it looking?
I have it about 25" down from the water surface (2 x 400W MH lights are 10" above that), and I have it tucked partially into a little cave area. It does not like light.

I've got about 5 new medium-sized ones already...I was really surprised, especially given its condition when I got it in Feb.

gee, it's such a shocker that you get a dying frag of a coral and it grows better than the healthy one i have...bah! silly corals. :)

Magic! Saying that...the corals I got that were dying originally almost always do better than the ones I just buy healthy. Hmm...more attention = healthier coral...imagine that! LOL

For those of you who don't know, my tank has been less-than-ideal the last 6 months. My skimmer broke several times, my lights died, my Apex went out, and my dosing pump went on the fritz. Growth and colors aren't great, but here are some updated pics. Updated actinic shot (the entire underside is covered in babies): My favorite SPS:

Mike, I was so sad I missed the first part of your workshop! I only caught the trail end. I could use some photography help.

I'm sorry you were unable to catch it all. Let me know how I can help.
(I think Adam has me scheduled to present at one of the meetings early next year but it hasn't been announced yet so don't tell anyone.)

Mike, the 5th photo down is the most crazy bright green Acro ever, but I can't seem to capture the color. Is there anything you'd recommend trying?
